I'm a PhD candidate at the Institute of Medical Science (IMS) and a research fellow at The Wilson Centre. Previously, I completed a HBSc in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the Faculty of Health, York University. My research aims to identify the key aspects of care that promote a patient-clinician centered relationship. My PhD project examines obesity care management related to long-term health outcomes after bariatric surgery. Beside my research, I’m part of few research and education initiatives at the IMS. I’m also the host of the Artificial Intelligence in Health Profession Education (AI_HPE)  Journal club, a co-joined collaboration between the Wilson Centre and Teaching Institute for Research Education (TIER) at UHN. This is an open community and safe space to meet people with diverse expertise to learn, engage, and discuss the impact of AI implementation in healthcare.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to Quirk and Quarks, Making Sense with Sam Harris, The Current, and the Daily. I also like to tune to TED Talks, Freakonomics, No Stupid Questions. I enjoy playing tennis, jogging and hiking trips with family and friends when the weather is nice. I love coffee in all its forms.
