I am a current fellow at the Wilson Centre. I am also currently finishing the MScCH: Health Practitioner Teacher Education master program through the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at The University of Toronto. I completed my medical training (MD) degree in Oman. Ever since, I have embarked on this great journey to learn from the best in both Paediatrics and Medical Education. I started my residency in Paediatrics in Halifax, NS at the IWK hospital. I enjoyed every part of my time in Halifax! In 2016, I moved to Toronto and in 2019, finished the Academic General Paediatric fellowship program at the University of Toronto at the Hospital for Sick Children. I am passionate about medical education and love teaching and enjoy being involved in medical education research. My current interest in medical education is adaptive expertise in the face of uncertainty and complexity in the clinical setting and achieving excellence in clinical practice.

I love reading, mainly books in Arabic (and education). I like reading in different topics, and that is probably why I am a general paediatrician, as I like to know something about everything. I do not listen to a lot of podcasts but sometimes listen to the KeyLIME podcast and sometimes listen to sports-related podcasts (yep not only eduction!), mainly in football (soccer!).

In my spare time, I like travelling whenever I can, I also like camping as well (weather permitted, NOT in the winter). I also enjoy watching movies and sports and every now and then do some sports (only occasionally these days!)
