I am a PhD student in the Health Professions Education Research doctoral concentration offered by the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation in collaboration with the Wilson Centre. I am also a research fellow at the Wilson Centre. Prior to this, I completed a Master of Science in Health Science Education and an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science in Arts & Science and Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, both at McMaster University. My research explores the intersection between expertise and identity when health professionals are faced with uncertainty and complexity in their daily practice.

Reading is a passion of mine. I'm the type of person who will get in a taxi and say, "to the library, and step on it!". It's hard for me to choose a favourite book, but I would say Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig had a profound impact on how I view education and life in general. As for podcasts, I enjoy listening to anything about psychology, philosophy, or the intersection of psychology and philosophy.

In my spare time, you can find me enjoying all forms of physical fitness, watching Jeopardy!, or doing science outreach in my community.
