I am a PhD student in Health Professions Education Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto and a research fellow at the Wilson Centre. I have a Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis from Brock University and I completed my Bachelors of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University. I am Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with over 5 years of experience working in a variety of roles in the field of applied behaviour analysis including as a researcher and clinician. As a researcher and clinician, I am passionate about contributing to the assessment and evaluation of various methods to teach clinical skills to new clinicians during supervised practice, the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, and the application of applied behaviour analysis in sports and fitness. I have worked as a behaviour analyst for over 2 years in Toronto working with children primarily diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Health, Sport, and Fitness Canada Special Interest Group.

If I have to go back and think what my favourite books are, it would be a tie between The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho or Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. This is a complete contrast to all the books I am currently reading, which is every single romance novel mentioned on TikTok. My New Year’s resolution for 2023 was to read 52 books within the year, and by September 2023, I have surpassed my goal with reading 74 books (all romance novels might I add). My preferred podcasts all relate to the highly engaging and educational Bachelor franchise.

When I am not reading, you can find me playing beach volleyball with my friends or trying to convince my fiancé to watch Mamma Mia for the 100th time.
